HighNote is pretty straightforward, but here are the basics.
There are three fundamentals:
1) Playing music
Obviously, the first thing you're going to want to do is start playing some music from your music collection. As you play songs, you’ll see that there is a “score” column which is rating that piece of music based on your current filter.
2) Setting your filters
The system scores your music using that little dial and slider thingy. It can support a bunch of profiles and each is completely customizable. Start messing around with it to adjust your playlists - depending on your mood.
3) Getting some friends
Finally, and most importantly - invite some friends to join. The system is designed to enable you to send and receive recommendations from people who can expose you to all sorts of new (or old) great music.
